Social-Emotional Learning, One Stride at a Time
At Run4Fun, we believe in the transformative power of movement. Our Sunday Program brings together young people in grades 4–12 for running, play, mentorship, and community in the heart of Prospect Park.
At the core of every session is Run4Fun's social-emotional learning curriculum, developed by our founder, a licensed social worker, and brought to life through movement and connection. Young people build confidence, self-awareness, emotional regulation, leadership skills, and healthy relationships while developing a lifelong love of movement.
Our all-levels, inclusive program welcomes everyone, from those taking their first strides to experienced runners. Participants are encouraged to grow at their own pace in a supportive, trauma-informed environment where belonging comes first.
Throughout the season, young people have opportunities to participate in cross-country races, track meets, road races, community events, and leadership opportunities across New York City.
Programs are led by Youth Development Mentors trained in Run4Fun's social-emotional learning curriculum. Coaches are USATF-registered, SafeSport certified, background-checked, and certified in CPR and First Aid.
Season Contribution: $460
• Payment Plans Available
• Need-Based Scholarships Available
Scholarships are available, and families are encouraged to reach out if cost is a barrier. Please contact nicoletta@run4funusa.org for more information.
Join us in Prospect Park for movement, mental wellness, friendship, and fun, one stride at a time.
